Mission
Improve people's quality of life, especially those with motor disabilities and low resources, through applied research and innovative technology.
Vision
To be a sustainable, certified center, and a leader in the implementation of innovative solutions for biomedical technology and research, which allows optimizing health indexes in the motor disability area, generating a significant social and economic impact in our country.

On August 24 and 31, 2019, the first aid course is held at the facilities of the Physis clinic.
Citizen Engagement
In the conference of August 23, 2019, 54 municipalities of the state were summoned by the Chihuahua Citizen Participation Committee to generate knowledge about "Participatory Budgets", an instrument of Citizen Participation Law, having as speaker MA Carlos Gonzalez.
Rehab Week
CIBAC had the honor of being present at the rehabilitation week, in which cutting-edge health technology that even amazes economically-developed countries.
Dr. Karla Bustamante, our director, presented before representatives of 65 different countries the advances that are made in the Center for Research in Bioengineering A.C (CIBAC)

Occupational therapy and aphasia course
On July 25th and 26th, 2019, CIBAC welcomed Amalet Aranda and Sergio Romo, specialists in the area of occupational therapy and aphasia respectively.
Biomechanics applied to sports.
This course aimed to provide tools for the study, analysis, and evaluation of the motion of the human body and the factors that influence its capacity for adaptation and recovery.
The final objective was to be able to apply this knowledge to increase the performance of athletes, improve the quality of movement, technique as well as reduce the risk of injury.
